Our carboxylation factory has been in existence since 1961 and was initially used for the production of salicylic acid and later for small amounts of para-hydroxybenzoic acid.
1996 start up of cresotinic acid
In 1996, then owner Rhône-Poulenc / Rhodia started producing cresotinic acids.
2005 foundation LCP - Leuna Carboxylation Plant GmbH
In 2005, the plant was acquired by Infatrade (UK) Ltd, and LCP Leuna Carboxylation Plant GmbH was established.
2006 start up of potassium sulphate (K2SO4) > 99.8%
In 2006, LCP Leuna Carboxylation Plant GmbH developed its own process for extracting technical grade potassium sulphate > 99.8% technical pure. This completed our product range.
2012 take over by Polyplastics Co. Ltd
Polyplastics Co. Ltd aquired LCP Leuna Carboxylation Plant GmbH in September 2012.
